National Union of Students - What Students Think
In light of a possible upcoming election in 2024 the National Union of Students wanted to create a manifesto that sets out what students and apprentices want to see from the next government.
With this in mind they asked The Space Room to build them a NationBuilder microsite so that they could survey their base and establish what issues were most important to them. They would then use this data to write a manifesto that was accurate to the concerns of students and apprentices across the country.
Features
- Custom theming from established sub brand aesthetic
- Multiple surveys across a wide range of topics
- Capture data for future correspondence
- Better understand NUS stakeholders wants and needs
Gathering members opinions
We built a NationBuilder custom theme in keeping with an established brand. We then applied that theme to the microsite and populated it with a series of surveys for members to fill in.
In order to take the survey the user had to submit some basic information which maintained authenticity. This also provided data, stored within the NationBuilder CRM, so that participants could be kept informed as the manifesto developed.
Encouraging participation in all areas
The microsite encouraged participation in a variety of surveys on a wide range of topics. Any completed survey was greyed, with the user being free to fill out as many or as few as they wanted in whatever order they desired.
A manifesto truly reflective of The National Students Union members
Over 7000 students submitted data through the microsite, the findings of which became the basis for a manifesto setting out what the National Union of Students wanted to see from the next UK government.
The microsite allowed the NUS to properly survey their base and make sure that any manifesto was reflective of their hopes and needs.
